About Us

Willow

We created Willows Way Rescue in honor of our dog Willow. Willow was recued from another shelter at a young age and developed osteoscarcoma in her face. Two short months later, she passed away due to this agressive type of cancer. When we were at the shelter, there were so many other dogs and cats that needed loving homes, and the shelter faced a struggle to place these animals. We made the decision to start fostering some of the animals, which led to us starting our own no-kill shelter to provide a temporary home to dogs, cats, and horses until we can find a home for them. If any of our rescue animals cannot be placed, they will live their remaining days on our farm so they can live a care-free life and get the care they need.

Our Mission

Our mission is to rescue lost and abandoned animals in our community. Providing food, shelter, medical treatment, and love to those in need. We promote spay and neuter programs to control overpopulation, and work with other organizations to place high risk animals into loving homes. Part of our mission is to help animals stay in their homes as well by providing food, shelter and basic medical assistance.
